This is not a political issue. This is a human rights issue. As a public health company it is our utmost responsibility and commitment to work to improve the lives of our community. Amidst a pandemic that is disproportionately affecting black and brown communities, we continue to witness senseless tragedies fueled by racism like the death of #GeorgeFloyd and so many others.

It is gut-wrenchingly clear there is entrenched injustice and inequity in this country stoked by racist ideology, both explicit and implicit. Inaction is not an option. We stand with our black and brown brothers and sisters on our team, in our community, and around the world who are engaging in non-violent protest to right these wrongs.
